Christophe Sion

Christophe Sion is co-founder and CEO of Husk, the AI-native finance platform built for European startups and growing teams. He came to fintech from the legal side of finance. He spent five years at Stibbe, one of the leading Benelux law firms, working in corporate finance, including a secondment to ING Belgium. He holds an LL.M. in Banking, Corporate, Finance and Securities Law from the University of Virginia and an MBA from UVA's Darden School of Business. That work gave him a close view of how growing companies get tangled in financial systems built for a different era, while the tools to fix it stayed locked inside big banks. In 2022 he joined the ABN AMRO and Techstars Future of Finance accelerator in Amsterdam as an Entrepreneur in Residence, where the idea for Husk took shape. In 2023 he co-founded Husk with Georgy Taranov to close that gap. Husk brings corporate cards, real-time spend visibility, expense management, and cash flow insights into one platform that works at startup speed. The company is based in Brussels, backed by Techstars and a group of angel and institutional investors, and licensed to operate across the European Economic Area. Christophe writes about what founders actually deal with: managing burn, controlling spend without slowing the team down, and building financial infrastructure that keeps pace with growth.
